Lottery Application

Welcome prospective students! Admission to South Valley Academy is determined by random electronic lottery. If you would like your child to be included in this lottery, please fill out and submit an application below. Starting this year, we are accepting applications online through JupiterEd.

Please be advised that the lottery does not guarantee admission. Students will be enrolled by the order in which their names are drawn, based on the number of open spaces. After the lottery, SVA staff will notify you of your child's status on either the enrollment or waiting lists. Students who are not enrolled following the lottery are placed on a waiting list, with newly opened spaces awarded in continuing lottery draw order.

Student Enrollment Applications and Policy:

Enrollment Update, April 22, 2021:

The 2021-2022 lottery application window is now closed and our lottery has been completed.
Applicants will be notified of their place on the enrollment or grade level wait list by mail in the next week.

Applications may still be submitted but will be automatically added to the end of the appropriate waiting list. Click on the form link below to apply. If you are unable to submit an online form or have any questions, please contact our main office at 505-452-3132 for assistance.

Please Note: Spaces in grades 7-12 are extremely limited. Open spaces are filled as our current students advance, and 8th grade students are automatically promoted from SVA Middle School to the High School.

Sibling Enrollment Policy, HS/MS:

If space permits, siblings (brothers or sisters) of current students are automatically accepted but must have a current application on file by the deadline. For enrollment purposes, cousins are not considered siblings.
