Lottery Application
Welcome prospective Dragons! Admission to South Valley Academy is determined by random electronic lottery. If you would like your student to be included in this lottery, please fill out and submit an application below.
Please be advised that the lottery does not guarantee admission. Students will be enrolled by the order in which their names are drawn, based on the number of open spaces. After the lottery, SVA staff will notify you of your student's status on either the enrollment or waiting lists. Students who are not enrolled following the lottery are placed on a waiting list, with newly opened spaces awarded in continuing lottery draw order.
Enrollment Update, January 14, 2025:
Please Note: Spaces in grades 7-12 are extremely limited. Open spaces are filled as our current students advance, and rising SVA 8th grade students are automatically enrolled in 9th grade.
SVA Employee Lottery Exemption:
Children of current SVA employees are exempt from the lottery process and will be enrolled automatically. (subject to available space in the applicable grade level)
Sibling Enrollment Policy:
Siblings, brothers or sisters, of current students are automatically accepted but must have a current application on file by the deadline. For enrollment purposes, cousins are not considered siblings. (subject to available space in the applicable grade level)
