Title IX Sex-Based Discrimination And Harassment Policy

South Valley Academy is committed to fostering and cultivating a safe, nondiscriminatory learning and working environment that respects the dignity and value of all its members and is free of sex-based discrimination and harassment. South Valley Academy will take prompt and equitable action to eliminate sex-based discrimination and harassment, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects. Discrimination on the basis of sex includes discrimination on the basis of sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Sex based harassment includes sexual harassment. Furthermore, South Valley Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational programs, activities, operations, and employment decisions consistent with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) and other applicable state and federal law.
