Equity Council

South Valley Academy had an Equity Table long before Equity Councils existed in Albuquerque. 

As part of the state-mandated requirement to have an Equity Council at every school in the state, South Valley Academy answers to the needs of students, parents and community by also having an Equity Council to answer the Yazzie-Martinez case requirements. 

Members of the 2023-2024 Equity Council are:

Nancy Douglas, Scott Lestage, Adrian Martinez, Isela Rendon, Tricia Wagner, Max Warsaw, and Dr. Maria Eugenia Trillo, Co-Lead.

Consultants are:  Alicia Hernandez Sanchez, Gladines Harris, and Dr. Manuel Jimenez
