Special Education

South Valley Academy provides a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to all students who are accepted through our lottery, according to New Mexico State and Federal laws.

South Valley Academy adheres to an inclusive model of education. Special education services are provided within the general education setting by accommodating and modifying curriculum and, as determined by Individualized Education Programs, through in-class support of a special education teacher and/or educational assistant. Special education services are also available during office hours and at other times as determined according to the needs of students.
