SVA parents and families,
Today we were notified that an individual who recently visited SVA and came into contact with staff is presenting with symptoms which may be related to COVID-19. At this time, the individual is currently isolating at home. We have strongly encouraged them to seek out COVID-19 testing as soon as possible.
Staff who were on campus today were also apprised of the situation and instructed to work from home as soon as possible.
Out of an abundance of caution, South Valley Academy’s campus will be closed to the public from Wednesday, September 23 through Monday, September 28th. During this time, all areas accessed by the students and staff will be sanitized.
Online instruction will continue as originally scheduled.
