South Valley Academy is looking for passionate and talented educators who love to work with students, who are committed to their practice, who feel that being an educator is essential and meaningful, and who believe in the core values of equity, opportunity, social justice, and community.

Our Math Department seeks candidates who are experienced with differentiating for a wide range of learners, including English Learners, and who are committed to co-planning and co-teaching with a Special Education Teacher. Teachers are also advisors at SVA, and candidates with experience building relationships with students and serving as advisors are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaking candidates are preferred.

SVA’s HS Math Program:
SVA Math courses follow a general pathway of 9th grade Algebra 1, 10th grade geometry, 11th grade Algebra 2 or Functions, 12th Grade Pre-Calculus, Calculus or Financial Literacy. We also seek to expand our students’ STEM opportunities both in and outside of school.
